Architectural Garden Design and Planting in Toronto

A Toronto landscape is unfinished without its living layer, and planting is where a built project finally settles into its setting. We design gardens for four-season interest, combining structured evergreen bones, hand-selected specimen trees, and layered beds that carry colour and texture from spring through winter. Plant choices are made for Toronto's hardiness zone and the specific light and soil of the lot, with native and adapted species that perform without constant intervention, and deer-resistant selections where wildlife pressure calls for them. On heritage-context properties in Forest Hill and Rosedale, we plant to complement the architecture rather than obscure it. Designed with mature size in mind, the garden grows into its intended form and reads as an integral part of the property, not a decoration applied at the end.
